This terms and conditions set out what we have both committed to in this training programme. It is written plainly because that is how I work. Please read it, sign it, and return it to me before we begin Week 1.

1.  What this training is

This is a structured, written training programme designed to help you develop greater attention flexibility, working with your natural profile and gradually building access to a style that does not yet come easily.

All training takes place by email. There are no face-to-face meetings, video calls, or telephone sessions. The programme runs on a weekly rhythm: you send me a short report, I read it carefully and send back my observations along with specific guidance for the following week.

Week 1 is provided free of charge. From Week 2 onwards, each week is paid in advance before guidance is sent.

2.  What this training is not

This is not therapy, counselling, or clinical treatment of any kind. It does not diagnose, treat, or address mental health conditions. If you are currently working with a therapist, psychiatrist, or doctor, this training is designed to sit alongside that support, not to replace it.

If at any point I feel that your situation is beyond the scope of attentional training, I will tell you honestly and, where appropriate, suggest that you seek support from a qualified professional. In that situation I will end the training and refund any payment made for weeks not yet completed.

3.  What I commit to

I will read every report you send me carefully and respond within 1-2 days. My guidance for each week is built on what you have actually shared, not a generic template.

I will be honest with you about what I observe, including when progress is slow or when something you are trying does not appear to be working.

I will keep everything you share with me completely confidential. Your intake form responses, your weekly reports, and all email exchanges between us will not be shared with any third party under any circumstances.

I will hold the training relationship within its appropriate scope and refer you on if something arises that falls outside it.

4.  What I ask of you

Send your weekly report at the end of each week. A few paragraphs is plenty, there is no required format. What matters is that it is honest and reflects what actually happened, not what you hoped would happen.

Engage with the experiments I suggest as genuinely as you can, within whatever your life allows that week. There is no expectation of perfection, but there is an expectation of honest effort.

Let me know if something is not working, if life gets in the way, or if you want to pause. I would rather know than not know.

5.  Fees and payment

Week 1 is free of charge. From Week 2 onwards, the fee is as follows:

Single week (pay as you go): £15 per week

Four weeks in advance: £50

Payment is required in advance. I will send you the guidance for the coming week once payment has been received. If you choose the four-week option, guidance will be sent each week throughout the four weeks following receipt of payment.

6.  Stopping and refunds

You are free to stop the training at any point.

If you have paid for a single week and decide not to continue, no further payment is due. There is no refund for a week already in progress.

If you have paid for four weeks in advance and decide to stop before all four weeks are complete, I will refund the fee for any remaining weeks that have not yet begun. For example, if you stop after Week 2 of the four-week block, I will refund the payment for Weeks 3 and 4.

If I end the training for any reason, including if I feel the programme is not the right fit for your situation, I will refund the payment for any weeks not yet completed in full.

7.  Confidentiality and data

Everything you share with me is held in confidence. This includes your intake form, your weekly reports, and all correspondence. I will not share your information with any third party.

Your data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR. You have the right to ask me what information I hold about you and to request that it be deleted at any time.

8. Use of AI tools

I use AI tools to support certain aspects of this training programme, including structuring observations and drafting guidance. Every response produced with AI assistance is read carefully by me, modified where needed, and checked for consistency with the flexible attention framework before it is sent to you.

When working with AI tools, I do not input your name or any directly identifying information. Your profile, scores, and the content of your reports are used in anonymised form only. The AI tool does not know who you are. All judgment, interpretation, and final decisions about the guidance you receive remain mine.

By agreeing to this agreement you confirm that you understand and consent to this use of AI tools within the training process.

9.  Outcomes

Attention style development is a genuine process that takes time and honest engagement. I cannot guarantee specific outcomes, timelines, or results. What I can guarantee is that the guidance I provide will be personal, considered, and built on careful reading of everything you share.

The work tends to go well when there is honest effort on both sides. It tends to go less well when reports become formulaic or when the experiments are not genuinely tried. I will always tell you if I notice this happening.

10.  Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Due to professional indemnity and insurance limitations, Attention Training services are not available to residents of the United States of America.
